McGowan Corporate Solutions have been involved with insurance for the Industrial Rope Access Technicians Association (IRATA) and it's members since 2001 although Craig's own working relationship with IRATA extends much further than that.

We have been assisted and supported during the last 5 years by our Lloyds Broker, Thompson Heath and Bond Ltd, in developing an exceptional relationship with HCC Underwriting Agency Ltd (syndicate 4141 at Lloyds of London).

In the early 2000's, members may recall that insurance was both difficult and costly, to procure.

We have therefore worked very closely with IRATA, it's members, THB and HCC to create an insurance facility, built for longevity and we are constantly reviewing and evolving that facility, to accommodate members' changing requirements wherever possible.       

By 2009, we had sufficiently demonstrated our knowledge of, and commitment to stabilising insurance for, IRATA members that underwriters allowed us to transfer the insurance facility 'in house'. This enables us to provide a swift, bespoke and easily accessible service, to members.

We now have a secure, established but flexible, insurance product which offers Employers' Liability, Public Liability and Professional Indemnity.

Cover is available for Worldwide and Offshore risks. All IRATA members insurances are individually underwritten by an experienced Partner.
